Throughout my artistic and personal life, I have fought to advance the world's perceptionof culture, race, gender, and identity.

I am drawn to new works that embrace socially impactful stories, varied art forms, diverse cultures, and voices that ignite the page and audience.

As a director, I bring a sensory aesthetic in my collaborations with designers which includes a painterly eye, musical ear, and physical movement. Much of the work I have directed has a non-realistic bent presented through stylization and a non-traditional approach. I often incorporate dance and multimedia in straight plays, and my work often includes puppets, singers, masks, and both onstage and pit orchestras.

I am inspired to continue my work exploring and collaborating in a myriad of art forms and examining and learning from this vast cultural landscape we share.
